2025 Recap & Gratitude for Growth

There is something sacred about the quiet moments at the end of a year. The world slows down, and for a moment you can hear your own heart again. As I look back on 2025, I feel a deep sense of gratitude for every part of this year. The highs. The challenges. The breakthroughs. The lessons. It all shaped me into a more grounded and aligned version of myself. This year reminded me what leadership really means and how much beauty can be found in the process of growing.

This year I stretched in ways I never expected. I softened in ways I did not know I needed. I found strength in places I had forgotten to look. And through all of it, I learned that growth rarely looks like what we imagine. Sometimes it is big and loud. Sometimes it is quiet and internal. Sometimes it comes through success. Sometimes it comes through slowing down. But it always comes exactly when you need it.

As I reflect, these are the lessons I am carrying with me into the new year.

I grew by returning to my purpose

When I joined Heritage Club at 54, I knew I wanted alignment and stability. What I did not expect was how deeply I would reconnect to my purpose. Helping women build confidence, income, wellness, and belief lit something inside me again. It reminded me that purpose grows stronger as we grow older. There is a depth, a wisdom, and a clarity that only time can give you, and it showed up for me in a powerful way this year.

I grew by slowing down

This year taught me that slowing down is not weakness. It is wisdom. Slowing down allowed me to choose intentionally. It helped me see what actually mattered. It helped me cut out the noise and listen to my own voice. With every quiet decision, I became more aligned and more confident. Slowing down helped me step into leadership with more strength than speed ever could.

I grew by leading differently

I led softer this year. Gentler. More present. With more compassion and more gratitude. Pressure fell away and clarity took its place. I realized that leadership is not about being ahead. It is about walking beside the women who trust you. It is about seeing them, hearing them, celebrating them, and helping them see what is possible for themselves. This team helped me lead with heart again.

I grew by trusting the long game

In a world where everything moves fast, this year taught me the value of longevity. I stopped caring about quick wins and started caring about meaningful ones. I leaned into the stability and heritage behind what we are building. I trusted the process. I trusted the timing. I trusted that everything meaningful takes time to grow. And that trust brought a level of peace that changed everything.

I grew by believing bigger

This year cracked something open inside me. My faith deepened. My belief expanded. My confidence returned in a whole new way. I realized that being 54 is not a limitation. It is an advantage. I have experience. I have perspective. I have resilience. I have clarity. And I have a purpose that feels stronger than ever. This year helped me believe that the best chapters are still ahead.

As I close out 2025, I feel grateful for the lessons, the people, the challenges, the growth, and the quiet moments that guided me. If you want to explore more of what shaped this year, you can read my reflections in Leadership Lesson: What I Am Carrying Into 2026 or What My Team Taught Me This Year. Together, they tell the full story of this beautiful season of growth.

I am stepping into 2026 with purpose, clarity, gratitude, and belief. I am grateful for every woman who walked with me this year. Every conversation. Every Zoom. Every message. Every story shared. Leadership is a gift, and this year reminded me how deeply I love this work.
