Last day of Phase 1 with 75 Hard
I could not be happier right now lol. It is 9:30 on this cold, snow covered Sunday morning and I have already done my last outdoor walk and the last 5 minute cold shower. The rest of the day will be easy to finish. I don’t know whether it was the fact that it’s January in New England and freezing out or just that a 5 minute cold shower in general is not fun, but like I have said this entire month, this was HARD! But by 6pm tonight I will be finishing up checking the boxes and be done with this part.
There are 2 more phases if I want to finish the entire live hard program. Both are 30 days each. Phase 2 is back to the original 75 hard rules (which now are easy to me) then Phase 3 needs to have the last day be done the day before the date I started 75 hard so that day would be Sept. 20th. Phase 3 has the reg rules plus the cold shower will be back but hey it will be August/Sept. so that may not be so bad, also a daily act of kindness and talk to a stranger daily.
I am not sure I will be doing the last 2 phases but you never know I just may for the sake of finishing it. All I know right now in this minute is that I am so happy to be finishing up phase 1 today.
I am looking back at the last 30 days and figuring out what lessons did I learn from doing this, this time. I guess it would be:
The importance to committing to something
I can do hard things
What was once hard is now the easy thing
I like structure in my day
Not having alcohol is not a big deal
I think those are some pretty great lessons :)
Ok, now I am off to start packing for Florida! Time to warm this body up for a few weeks.
