Happy Tuesday and welcome to LeeAnne‘s kitchen!!!

This week is a bit different as you’re getting my photos of my oats and fruit that I had for breakfast instead of a video! Lol

I talked about this breakfast in my stories the other day and everyone kept messaging me about it and wanted the recipe! So I decided to show you and tell you!! Being in an ostomy I typically have to take the skin off of my fruit, blueberries don’t bother me thank goodness!

I love fruit and oats. I know fruit gets a lot of slack but to me it is nutritious, has tons of vitamins and minerals that my body needs, so I have a few pieces of fruit every day. I’ve tried taking it out (esp when I am on a “diet” not a fan of that word lol) but I always seem to really want it!

So instead, I’ve decided to give my body what it wants!! In my opinion, a couple of pieces of fruit is totally and for me, it is very much needed!

+ 1/2 cup quick oats with a little less than 1 cup hot water. I boil the water in my kettle on the stove then I add it to the oats. ( I’m not a huge microwave fan.. )

+ 1/2 banana & 1/4 cup blueberries (the skin on the blueberries doesn’t seem to bother me)

+ Sprinkle of Vietnamese cinnamon

I love starting my day like this with a good hearty, fulfilling breakfast. And I feel totally fueled for my workouts after eating it!

Are you a total fruit eater!? What’s your typical breakfast like?
