Juicy Turkey Burgers

There is nothing like a great burger but how to make a Turkey burger juicy and not dry? That is usually the hardest thing! However, I have a recipe I made for you! They are great on the grill or fried on a pan. I got a Ninja Foodi when we were in NYC so that we could still grill and it was so worth the money! I use it everyday!

You can change up the amount of spices to make it more to your liking. I no longer measure anything and just mix it up. We make these almost every week.

  • 1lb 93% or 99% lean ground turkey

  • 2 tsp. powdered garlic

  • 2 tsp powdered onion

  • 1 tbsp crushed red pepper flakes

  • 1/4c sriracha

  • 4 pieces of turkey bacon (chopped fine) John likes to add this I usually don’t (optional)

Mix everything together and make into 4 burger patties. Grill or spray a frying pan and cook about 3-4 min each side. When using the Ninja Foodi cook about 4-5 min total.

I have mine with a piece of toasted sourdough bread. Sourdough bread is the healthiest of bread and has some great protein in it too. Also, shown in the picture is 1 cup of Wholefoods bagged chopped salad (my ostomy seems to handle this amount of salad and having it shopped to start helps as well).

Enjoy!
