Happy New Year!!!

Welcome to 2022! Last night we had friends over for Chinese food like we’ve done for years, well except when we were in NYC, they did come down for one of those 3 celebrations. That year we were living on 42nd St between 9th and 10th ave. It was a rainy New Years Eve however we did go to our rooftop in the rain and watch the Ball Drop in Times Square, it was pretty magical watching all the confetti. Oh, and if you don’t know each year there is a website you can go to and have your wish for that coming year printed on a piece of that confetti. So when the ball drops, your wish will be included in the celebration to kick off the New Year. I have done it for 4 years now. This year my wish is to act in a movie. LOL. That is a BIG wish. Not sure it will happen seeing that I am just starting out on this journey.

I woke up this morning and decided to start Phase 1 of 75 Hard. If you have been following me you know I completed the original 75 Hard on Dec 3rd. Phase 1 has you do the original 75 Hard tasks (2-45 min workouts one outside and 2-3 hours apart, 1 gallon of water, a progress picture, follow a diet, no cheat meals/alcohol, 10 pages of reading), plus a 5 minute cold shower, 10 minutes of visualization and 3 additional critical tasks to move your life forward. When I woke up this morning I kept telling myself to just go take the 5 minute cold shower and get it out of the way, it would make me feel better because between the night sweats I get now (thanks menopause) plus my body burning the wine and champagne I had last night I was hot lol. Guys, I thought it was going to be bad but I actually enjoyed it. So from there I said ok lets get with starting phase 1 today and not tomorrow which was my original plan. What a way to bring in 2022 lol. Who wants to do this with me?

One of my critical tasks is to blog here daily, to truly bring you into my world without it being just on social media. To able to express what I go through on a daily basis with my Ostomy without holding back. So be prepared for those stories to happen as well throughout these next 30 days and who knows if you all enjoy the stories it may continue.

Anyway, I want to wish you all a very Happy New Year and hope that 2022 brings you joy! xo
